UWOFA History

The University of Western Ontario Faculty Association (UWOFA) was founded in 1955. In 1998 UWOFA faculty members certified as a union, creating the faculty bargaining unit in which part-time faculty and full-time faculty are represented.

Librarians and archivists at UWO certified in 2004, thus creating the librarians and archivists bargaining unit of UWOFA.
