Faculty Tentative Agreement and Ratification Vote Details

On October 16, 2026 UWOFA and the Employer reached a tentative agreement. The Parties met twenty-three times since early June.

Throughout this round, our priorities have included advancing job security for contract faculty, ensuring equitable and reasonable workload, achieving fair compensation, improving benefits, installing guardrails around use of generative artificial intelligence technologies, and placing teaching work at Western International College under the terms of the collective agreement.

Members will have the opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement through either in-person or online voting.

Online Voting

Online voting will open only to Members who do not vote in person. The vote will open Friday October 30 at 5:00 p.m. and close Wednesday November 4 at 11:59 p.m.

We encourage Members to take the time to review the agreement and consider its provisions. The ratification process is an important opportunity to engage with the outcome of this round of bargaining and participate in the decision ahead.
