About Jason

Jason Neyers is a Professor in the Faculty of Law. He came to Western in 2000 after clerking at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of torts, restitution, and contract law. He has published extensively in leading law journals and is a co-editor/author of eight books. His academic work has been cited by the Supreme Courts of Canada, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand and by the High Court of Australia and he has been an invited visitor to Harvard, Melbourne, AUT and Sydney law schools.  He is a founding member of the Tort Law Research Group and the moderator of the Obligations Discussion Group (ODG), which is an international mailing list devoted to all aspects of the law of obligations. He previously served on UWOFA’s board from 2006-2010.
