Dr. Gus Riveros is an associate professor in the area of critical policy, equity and leadership studies at the Faculty of Education. He joined Western in 2014 after receiving his PhD from the University of Alberta. Dr. Riveros' work is situated in the intersections of philosophy of education, policy analysis and educational administration. Some of his current projects include a comparative study of the adoption of leadership standards in three Canadian provinces, as well as an examination of global trends in leadership competencies for educational administrators in K-12 systems. His teaching includes courses and seminars on research methods and leadership studies in education.
